Entrepreneurial activity drives development, growth, innovation, and social changes in society and the state. Consideration of proposals submitted for orders (for goods, products, works, or services) is often carried out without appropriate automation tools, which causes it to be time-consuming and lengthy, especially if there are many proposals and selection criteria. Therefore, there is no doubt about the relevance of the problem of creating a suitable web application that allows automating this process based on the requirements defined by the customer.
The purpose of the work is the analysis and research of issues and methods of choosing the optimal supplier of goods (enterprise products, services) and the development of a corresponding software product - a decision-making web application regarding the automated selection of the optimal supplier for order fulfillment (purchase of goods, products, work, or services).
Selecting a supplier is one of the most critical stages of procurement of goods, works, and services. The paper analyzed and researched the method of multi-criteria optimization using the Voronin convolution, which can be used to solve supplier selection problems during procurement.
The use of the author's web application for decision-making regarding the selection of the optimal supplier for the fulfillment of an order for the purchase of goods allows, in particular, the user the opportunity to select the optimal supplier to optimize the order fulfillment process due to the automated selection of the supplier among those who submitted an offer for the order (when creating an order, each customer determines the optimality criteria that are the most significant for him); the user does not need to know the mathematical aspects of multivariate analysis and optimization because the web application itself performs it; generate several options for supplier selection solutions that meet the customer's needs according to supplier evaluation criteria. Using the developed web application automates choosing the optimal supplier when making purchases, which will increase the competitiveness of enterprises (entrepreneurs) and reduce procurement costs.
