ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SERVICES AS A TOOL FOR IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY RESEARCH

Abstract

The article simulates the case of a person entering the IT sphere as a project manager (PM). It researches the selection of a list of software (SW) for managing IT projects using a comparative analysis of the responses of three common and free artificial intelligence (AI) services, namely ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini.

The object of research in the paper is the process of managing IT projects, and the subject of research is a set of SW products used by PM during project implementation.

Relevance: the ever-increasing number of people trying to start activities in the IT sector on the one hand, and the ever-increasing popularity of AI services for finding information, on the other hand, make the research related to the search for a set of SW to manage IT projects with the help of AI services relevant and practically significant.

The research methodology consists of the fact that the answers provided by AI services (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) are compared to determine the set of SW that simultaneously belong to two or three sets of answers from AI services. The final set of SW obtained for implementing the IT project management process is compared with the set obtained by experts.
