Abstract

In modern times, information technologies and their use have become an important factor in the development of various sectors of the economy, science, education, and transport. One of such sectors that has felt the significant impact of digitization is the medical sector. The introduction of digital technologies, the emergence of web applications for medical services, changes in consumer preferences of users, and increased competition have led to significant changes in this sector.

The purpose of the article is to analyze and research the problems of software development for the corresponding web application (as an element of digitization of processes in the medical market) and its use to optimize the business processes of medical institutions and increase the level of satisfaction (comfort) of patients who use online medical services.

The research methods of the study methodological approaches and technological tools for the development of web applications. Such methods, in particular, include: systemic and comparative analysis to identify the features of creating scalable and high-performance web applications; the method of expert assessments, which involves analyzing information resources, conducting interviews and surveys of experts, as well as the processes of development and testing of scalable and high-performance web applications.

The novelty of the study is the analysis of modern technologies for developing platforms for supporting business processes in the medical industry, the results of which can be applied in the development of our own software product to support medical institutions, which can become a full-fledged assistant to the user in receiving the appropriate medical service.

The conclusion of the research is the determination of the impact of digitization on the medical services market. The work analyzes the state of the medical industry in Ukraine, reviews the main operating modes of medical institutions, and highlights the main transformations that the medical industry has undergone as a result of digitization and the use of appropriate information technologies. The work identifies the main success factors and problems of the medical industry in the context of digitization and proposes solutions to improve the competitiveness of medical institutions, including, in particular: improving existing or developing new digital platforms for providing medical services; adaptation of existing web services to changes in consumer preferences; adaptation of business processes of medical institutions to changes in consumer preferences. The developed author's web application "Medical Industry Digitization System" is described, which is an element of digitization of the medical services market. Further directions for improving the developed web application are determined.
