Financial Transparency Policy
The IT Synergy journal adheres to the principles of transparency and openness in all financial matters related to the publication of scholarly articles.
Key Principles
Justification of Charges.
The journal does not charge authors for manuscript processing, peer review, or publication. Authors are required to pay only the costs associated with:
- assigning a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to the article; and
- screening the manuscript for text similarity using the StrikePlagiarism system.
The funds received are used exclusively to cover the costs of these services.
Separation of Financial and Editorial Processes.
Financial matters have no influence on the editorial process. Decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts are based solely on the results of the peer-review process and the editorial evaluation. Reviewers are not involved in any financial procedures, and editorial decisions are made independently of any payments.
All information regarding publication fees, charges, and financial conditions is publicly available on the journal's website. Authors are provided with clear information regarding all financial aspects of manuscript submission.
The journal's transparent financial policy ensures:
- authors' and readers' confidence in the journal's publishing practices;
- the independence of the editorial and peer-review processes;
- compliance with international standards of publication ethics and open access.
